Air-Inclusive Package

Known as the 'Gateway to Eastern Indonesia,' Makassar has been a strategic maritime trade hub since the 16th century under the Gowa-Tallo Kingdom. As a specially curated part of our Tour Event Package, this 3D2N Makassar & Rammang-Rammang journey begins with a trip departing from Jakarta by air, connecting the Javanese megapolitan with the primary transit hub of the East. Makassar is more than just a logistical crossroads; it is home to the majestic Maros-Pangkep Karst, the second-largest karst landscape in the world, and a gastronomic paradise boasting an incredibly diverse culinary scene—from the spice-rich Coto Makassar to the legendary Pisang Epe.

Through this immersive experience, we invite you to embrace our Slow Travel philosophy, beginning with a journey to the ethereal Rammang-Rammang. Here, you will navigate the serene Puteh River by traditional wooden boat, passing through towering limestone cliffs and lush mangrove forests to reach the hidden village of Berua. Beyond the river, the adventure extends to the prehistoric caves of Leang-Leang, where ancient hand stencils tell stories from thousands of years ago. Guided by our local Tour Leader, whether you are wandering through these karst labyrinths or exploring a city steeped in history and flavor, this journey promises a profound connection with the soul of South Sulawesi.
