Air-Inclusive Package

Located just off the mainland of East Kalimantan, the Derawan Archipelago is a breathtaking tropical paradise comprising 31 islands, with Derawan, Maratua, Sangalaki, and Kakaban as its most spellbinding gems. As a specially curated part of our Tour Event Package, this 3D2N expedition invites you to witness Indonesia’s largest nesting site for endangered green and hawksbill turtles. Covering 1.27 million hectares of marine conservancy, Derawan ranks second only to Raja Ampat, boasting 460 species of corals and over 870 species of fish. From the stingless jellyfish of Kakaban to the majestic manta rays of Sangalaki, this journey is a soul-stirring immersion into one of the world's most vibrant underwater sanctuaries.

Embracing our Slow Travel philosophy, your adventure begins with a trip departing from Jakarta by air via Balikpapan to Berau, the gateway to this azure wonderland. We focus on the singular beauty of Maratua Island and its surrounding lagoons, where pristine seas change color from emerald green to deep blue. Managed by our dedicated Tour Leader / Tour Co-host, this journey ensures a seamless transition from the capital to these isolated, palm-fringed havens. Whether you are swimming alongside dolphins or exploring hidden sea caves, every moment is a curated balance of tropical serenity and extraordinary marine discovery.
