Driving Progress: Tegalalang and Tampaksiring’s Strategic Mission to the Capital
The GoH Indonesia team recently had the privilege of facilitating an official working visit for colleagues from the Tegalalang and Tampaksiring District Administrations, Gianyar Regency, to the Ministry of Village Affairs in Jakarta. This mission focused on accelerating regional development through direct consultation and strategic alignment with national programs. It was a journey aimed at bringing transformative insights back to the heart of Bali’s rural landscapes.
In between their official meeting schedules, participants were invited to experience Jakarta’s modern urban mobility firsthand. The itinerary included immersive trials of the city’s integrated public transportation, such as the MRT, LRT, and TransJakarta. This provided valuable insights into how sophisticated infrastructure can solve mobility challenges, offering a fresh perspective on urban management and connectivity.
